Tea Time! Vintage Spring Inspired Elopement // The Vintage House // Overland Park, Kansas

I don’t know a single thing about stylized shoots except I know that I want to be a part of them more often. I decided to attend a stylized shoot where I had zero input at all except to show up and photograph it. Definitely puts you into a different comfort level and creative headspace, but I loved it. The vendors and theme of this stylized shoot is just tpp perfect to share for the spring.

Lawrence Engagement // Sarah & Summer // The Replay, Potter's Lake

I had met Sarah and Summer back in 2016 when I photographed one of the first weddings I had ever shot under my own name. I sat with them at the reception and got to know them a bit. And now, here we are, in 2019, where I’ll be photographing their wedding this coming June, and I am SO SO excited to document it. Sarah and Summer are just…so wonderful. They are hilarious, spontaneous, and balance each other perfectly.

Intimate Backyard Wedding // Katherine & Andrew // Acquaint Gathering

Katie and Andrew have such a wonderful chemistry. Katie’s laughter is contagious, and Andrew knows exactly how to make her giggle. Their wedding encompassed them to a T. I loved that Andrew’s grandmother made their flower bouquets, and how Katie wore her late mother’s pearls. Both of these families were just so sweet and lovely to be around for the day. What made Katie and Andrew’s wedding so special was the joining of their family with Katie’s daughter Macy, who is such a ham and the love Andrew has for her is just so obvious and adorable

Rosa & Joe // Bon Appétit // In-Home Engagement // Kansas City, Loose Park

I will yell it from the rooftops but I absolutely love shooting inside homes! And I'm not just saying that because Rosa and Joe also cooked me a plate of delicious food. You don't have to feed me a homemade meal! In this case, it was just an added bonus (omg it was so good). I met up with Rosa and Joe inside their quaint home in Brookside Kansas City, where I also met their adorable and energetic pitbull, Terrance.

Beth & Amy // Urban Rustic Kansas City Engagement // West Bottoms

I'm so excited to share their engagement on the blog today on the day of their wedding. The two of them are from Arizona and came up to meet me in Kansas City to take their engagement photos with me! It was during a time where Kansas City was having some ridiculously cold weather, but they stuck it out like champs and we were able to get some beautiful photographs!

Nintendo Themed Wedding // Ray & Joe // Powell Gardens, MO //Happy Pride Month!!

I'm so thrilled to share these amazing images during such a great time for all LGBT+ couples everywhere. Ray and Joe’s amazing wedding day took place at Powell Gardens in Missouri, but first let's talk about how all of their details and decor were Nintendo Themed, along with a Triforce Cake?! For anyone who knows me, I am a huge Nintendo fan, so I was absolutely thrilled when Ray and Joe told me about their plans for their day. It was rainy and chilly, but that didn't stop the huge smiles on their face.
