Kansas City Wedding // El Torreon // Rosa + Joe

Rosa and Joe tied the knot at the El Torreon in Kansas City Missouri. There were so many aspects of their wedding that I loved. My favorite would be how much support and love their friends and family had for them. Being surrounded by that energy is so contagious.

Tea Time! Vintage Spring Inspired Elopement // The Vintage House // Overland Park, Kansas

I don’t know a single thing about stylized shoots except I know that I want to be a part of them more often. I decided to attend a stylized shoot where I had zero input at all except to show up and photograph it. Definitely puts you into a different comfort level and creative headspace, but I loved it. The vendors and theme of this stylized shoot is just tpp perfect to share for the spring.

Lawrence Engagement // Sarah + Summer // The Replay, Potter's Lake

I had met Sarah and Summer back in 2016 when I photographed one of the first weddings I had ever shot under my own name. I sat with them at the reception and got to know them a bit. And now, here we are, in 2019, where I’ll be photographing their wedding this coming June, and I am SO SO excited to document it. Sarah and Summer are just…so wonderful. They are hilarious, spontaneous, and balance each other perfectly.

Uptown Theater Wedding // Kate + Bobby // Westin Crown Center Hotel, Liberty Memorial // Kansas City, Missouri

Kate and Bobby are absolutely wonderful people that I can now call friends. What I absolutely love about their wedding was how much it was uniquely them. They incorporated their personalities in every small detail, such as their: pins, shoes, cake, buttons, gifts, the venue of Uptown Theater itself, and it was so much fun to photograph!

Nikki and David's wedding day was one that I will never forget. It was supposed to rain all day. And it didn't. It was cloudy and overcast, until the sun decided to peek out for 20 minutes for a gorgeous sunset. David and Nikki have a relationship that I just love.

Emotional University of Kansas Wedding // Kiley & Trent // Danforth Chapel, Lawrence Kansas

Where else should you get married but where you first met? I met Kiley and Trent earlier in 2017 when Trent asked me to photograph his proposal to Kiley in the middle of January in Lawrence, Kansas. Since then, they asked me to document their small wedding taken place on September 30th, 2017 at the small Danforth Chapel on the University of Kansas campus. I jumped on the chance to document their love again.
